The Hip Cats

The Hip Cats focus on American 50's rock music culture from grassroots rockabilly to popular 50's, through to the smoother crossovers of swing and R&B. The band is four piece with guitar, double bass, drums, sax/harmonica, with all the ‘cats' singing.

The band brings together the sounds and feel of the fifties and delivers through music that is upbeat and danceable.

One of the unique features of the “Hip Cats” is that they can play “Acoustic’, without any amplification, at the tables. This is a very entertaining part of the evening that will help your guests loosen up at the start of the evening giving them a taste of what is to come. Your guests, regardless of age, will be singing, dancing and tapping their feet to all the hits from the “Fifties”.

The Hip Cats can play acoustic at your special occasion, a party at you home, or wherever it might be.

The Hip Cats are:

Colin : Vocals, Acoustic & Electric Guitars

Peter : Slap Double Bass, Vocals

Hergy: Saxaphone, Harmonica, Percussion, Vocals
